About Bailey Direct Primary Care
What is Direct Primary Care?
Direct Primary Care is a model in which a patient pays a set monthly fee to their provider directly for primary care medical services. Services are not billed to insurance. The insurance middleman is removed from the patient-provider interaction leading to a more personalized and therapeutic relationship. Membership covers all office visits and access to direct communication with the provider through text, email, phone, and messaging service.
Benefits of Direct Primary Care
The major benefit of membership is more personalized relationship with your primary care provider. Instead of the average 15 minute office visits in a fee-for-service model, your visit can last up to 60 minutes or more allowing you and your provider to adequately address any health concerns. In addition, you have direct access to your provider via text, email and secure messaging (included with membership) which can help get concerns or questions addressed outside of an office visit when one is not needed. With a focus on patient-centered care, we are committed to addressing your health needs quickly and efficiently.
Our Team
Our team consists of Robert and Julie Bailey, husband and wife, who both have a wealth of experience in the healthcare industry. They relocated in February of 2024 to Raymond, Maine from Florida where they were both employed by Cleveland Clinic.
Julie Bailey has been a Family Nurse Practitioner since 2017. Her nursing career started 10 years prior to this serving in various roles in the hospital setting including both direct patient care as well as clinical leadership roles. As a Family Nurse Practitioner, Julie has gained experience in multiple specialties including Urology, General Cardiology, Cardiac Electrophysiology and most recently Primary Care.
Robert Bailey has extensive experience in Healthcare Administration, serving in practice leadership for multiple primary care practices as well as specialty practices and urgent care. Throughout his time in leadership, he maintained his certification as a medical assistant.
Robert and Julie have had a passion for starting a practice where they could combine their experience to provide high quality care, building trusting, meaningful and therapeutic relationships with their patients in order to help them attain their healthcare goals.
